AutoMCM-Pro for Codex CLI
RealSeaberry/AutoMCM-Pro
Runs a math modeling contest pipeline for CUMCM and MCM/ICM entries in Codex CLI, with git checkpoints, verified solver code and human review at each stage.
Entry point for a math modeling competition project: asks about preferences, writes plan.md and todo.md, then calls stage skills for analysis, code, diagrams, paper and verification.

1start-mathmodelEntry point for a math modeling competition project: asks about preferences, writes plan.md and todo.md, then calls stage skills for analysis, code, diagrams, paper and verification.
This is the control skill for a contest workflow, and it does not replace the stage skills. It asks only the few questions that change the process: the typesetting engine (Typst or LaTeX, with xelatex run twice for cross-references), the competition type, the paper language (MCM, ICM and COMAP require English, other contests default to Chinese) and whether the number of sub-questions is known. Both engines cover all templates, 14 Chinese and 3 English, and the choices are recorded in plan.md.
It then writes plan.md and a todo.md checklist, lays out a project directory skeleton and runs the downstream skills in order: 2analysis-modeling for problem analysis and the model, 3coding-visual for reproducible code, results and data figures, 4drawio for flowcharts and architecture diagrams, 5writing for the paper and 6verity for reproducibility, consistency and submission-readiness checks. Boundaries are explicit: data charts come only from the coding stage, draw.io handles concept diagrams, and the writing stage must take every number from the results report instead of inventing it.

Math Modeling Workflow Starter loads about 918 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 28 tokens; SKILL.md has 125 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check noted patterns worth knowing about, such as sudo or a known installer.
allowed-tools: Bash(*), Read, Write, Edit, Grep, Glob, Agent, WebSearch, WebFetchAutomated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 125 words (~918 tokens).

Math Modeling Workflow Starter fits situations like: starting a math modeling competition project from the problem statement; planning stages and deliverables before modeling begins; choosing between Typst and LaTeX for a contest paper; keeping a todo checklist that tracks each stage.
Run `npx skills add jihe520/MathModelAgent --skill 1start-mathmodel -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/1start-mathmodel in jihe520/MathModelAgent) into .claude/skills/1start-mathmodel in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add jihe520/MathModelAgent --skill 1start-mathmodel -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/1start-mathmodel in jihe520/MathModelAgent) into .agents/skills/1start-mathmodel in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add jihe520/MathModelAgent --skill 1start-mathmodel -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/1start-mathmodel, .gemini/skills/1start-mathmodel, .github/skills/1start-mathmodel and .opencode/skills/1start-mathmodel in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Math Modeling Workflow Starter is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: Typst, or a LaTeX installation with xelatex, to compile the paper; The downstream stage skills 2analysis-modeling through 6verity. Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Bash(*), Read, Write, Edit, Grep, Glob, Agent, WebSearch, WebFetch.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found notes only (pre-approves every shell command (allowed-tools: bash)), nothing it rates as a warning. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
No licence was found for Math Modeling Workflow Starter or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 918 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
