mathmodel-figure-templatesRenders ready-made scientific figure templates, such as raincloud plots, Taylor diagrams and chord diagrams, from bundled Python scripts in the MathModel sandbox.
The skill is bundled in the MathModel LaTeX sandbox and holds ready-to-run Python and matplotlib scripts for the figure templates in the Improve tab. The agent matches the request in a figure catalog, runs render_template.py with a template id, and the template script is copied into a project folder named 绘图复刻 with outputs written as PNG, PDF and SVG. It then returns the generated file paths and the path of the copied script.
Eleven template ids are available, including multiclass-shap-combo, paired-raincloud, cv-roc-ci, taylor-diagram, correlation-pairgrid, prediction-marginal-grid, rf-tpe-surface, grouped-corr-split-violin, grouped-circular-heatmap, urban-park-cooling-combo and nature-chord-diagram, and the --list option prints them. The bundled scripts use deterministic simulated data, and the agent must not claim the values reproduce a source study. For customization it runs the nearest template first and edits the copied script, keeping the matplotlib config directory setup, fixed seeds, all three export formats and readable high-DPI labels.

MathModel Figure Templates loads about 627 tokens when it runs, and up to ~1.3k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 104 tokens; SKILL.md has 201 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check noted patterns worth knowing about, such as sudo or a known installer.
allowed-tools: Bash(*), Read, Write, Edit, Grep, GlobAutomated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 201 words (~627 tokens).

VILA-Lab/FigMirror
Mirrors the visual style of a top-conference paper figure onto your own data, producing a camera-ready PDF and a self-contained matplotlib script.
Dsadd4/AgentFigureGallery
Lets a plotting agent query a gallery of scientific figure references, show candidates for you to pick from, and export the chosen ones before it writes plot code.
lingzhi227/agent-research-skills
Generates publication-quality scientific figures with matplotlib or seaborn through query expansion, a run-and-retry coding loop and a visual check of the rendered PNG.
VILA-Lab/FigMirror
Redraws your data as a matplotlib figure in the visual style of a reference paper figure, using a drawer and reviewer loop.
csmar432/finai-research
生成研究/项目架构图、流程图、层次图(swimlane / processflow / hierarchytree)。适合 PPT 汇报、技术文档、综述插图。输出风格接近 draw.io,可选 graphviz(高质量)/ matplotlib(零依赖)双后端。

jihe520/MathModelAgent
Rewrites a math modeling competition paper into an English EI conference submission, using a bundled IEEE LaTeX template, with evidence tracked back to the original paper.
jihe520/MathModelAgent
Runs the final verification pass on a math-modeling competition paper written in Typst or LaTeX, checking structure, figures, numbers, leaks and compilation.
jihe520/MathModelAgent
Entry point for a math modeling competition project: asks about preferences, writes plan.md and todo.md, then calls stage skills for analysis, code, diagrams, paper and verification.
jihe520/MathModelAgent
Chinese-language stage that turns a math modeling contest problem and its data files into a modeling report with sub-problems, formulas and a task list for coding.
jihe520/MathModelAgent
Math modeling stage that turns an analysis report into reproducible code, validates the solutions, writes RESULTS_REPORT.md and produces data-driven PDF charts for the paper.

MathModel Figure Templates fits situations like: reproducing a built-in scientific chart such as a raincloud plot or Taylor diagram; making SHAP, cross-validation ROC or correlation figures for a modeling paper; customizing a template figure after running the closest built-in one.
Run `npx skills add jihe520/MathModelAgent --skill mathmodel-figure-templates -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/mathmodel-figure-templates in jihe520/MathModelAgent) into .claude/skills/mathmodel-figure-templates in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add jihe520/MathModelAgent --skill mathmodel-figure-templates -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/mathmodel-figure-templates in jihe520/MathModelAgent) into .agents/skills/mathmodel-figure-templates in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add jihe520/MathModelAgent --skill mathmodel-figure-templates -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/mathmodel-figure-templates, .gemini/skills/mathmodel-figure-templates, .github/skills/mathmodel-figure-templates and .opencode/skills/mathmodel-figure-templates in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, MathModel Figure Templates needs Python for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (python3). Our summary lists: Python 3 with matplotlib; The MathModel LaTeX sandbox. Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Bash(*), Read, Write, Edit, Grep, Glob.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found notes only (pre-approves every shell command (allowed-tools: bash)), nothing it rates as a warning. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
No licence was found for MathModel Figure Templates or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 627 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.5k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 707 tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
