mathmodel-to-eiRewrites a math modeling competition paper into an English EI conference submission, using a bundled IEEE LaTeX template, with evidence tracked back to the original paper.
Starting from one complete competition paper, in PDF, Word or LaTeX, the skill treats template conversion and plain translation as insufficient on their own, and never promises acceptance or EI indexing. If only a title, abstract or outline is supplied, it asks for the full paper rather than inventing research to fill the gap. It identifies the strongest, most evidence-backed research thread in the original, which may combine or drop some of the competition's original sub-questions, rather than mechanically restating Problem One, Problem Two and so on.
Before rewriting, it reads a conversion guide and keeps a running revision log noting which original sections map to which new ones, where each core claim's numbers come from, and how each original figure or table was kept, merged, redrawn or dropped. It distinguishes real measurements, official data, simulated data and illustrative diagrams, and will not relabel a simulation as hardware-measured data.
A bundled init_manuscript.py script copies the IEEE template into a fresh output project without overwriting an existing one, after which the placeholder body, authors, references and example figures all have to be replaced. The final compile step uses latexmk, checks citations and figure clarity page by page, and delivers the compiled PDF with the revision log, stating clearly when a PDF could not actually be verified by compiling.

Math Modeling to EI Conference Paper loads about 688 tokens when it runs, and up to ~2.4k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 37 tokens; SKILL.md has 100 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 100 words (~688 tokens).

Math Modeling to EI Conference Paper fits situations like: converting a math modeling competition paper into an English conference submission; rewriting a finished competition paper for IEEE conference formatting; iterating on an already-started EI conference draft converted from a competition paper.
Run `npx skills add jihe520/MathModelAgent --skill mathmodel-to-ei -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/mathmodel-to-ei in jihe520/MathModelAgent) into .claude/skills/mathmodel-to-ei in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add jihe520/MathModelAgent --skill mathmodel-to-ei -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/mathmodel-to-ei in jihe520/MathModelAgent) into .agents/skills/mathmodel-to-ei in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add jihe520/MathModelAgent --skill mathmodel-to-ei -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/mathmodel-to-ei, .gemini/skills/mathmodel-to-ei, .github/skills/mathmodel-to-ei and .opencode/skills/mathmodel-to-ei in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Math Modeling to EI Conference Paper needs Python for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (python3). Our summary lists: Python 3, to run init_manuscript.py; A LaTeX toolchain such as latexmk to compile the output.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
No licence was found for Math Modeling to EI Conference Paper or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 688 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.8k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 1.7k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
