academic-pipelineOrchestrates a ten-stage academic workflow from research to finished manuscript, including integrity checks, two rounds of peer review and revision.
This is a lightweight orchestrator rather than a worker. It detects which stage a project is at, recommends a mode, dispatches the deep-research, academic-paper and academic-paper-reviewer skills, manages the handoffs between stages and tracks state. The flow runs research, writing, an integrity check, review, revision, re-review, a second revision, a final integrity check and finalization.
Integrity checks are required at set points and limited to what they can cover, review happens in two stages, and each stage leaves auditable quality-assurance artifacts. Routing is explicit: slash commands starting with `/ars-` or clear phrases like reviewing a paper go straight to the matching skill, and a `[direct-mode]` prefix on the first message skips cross-phase clarification. Supporting files include agents for orchestration, state tracking, integrity verification and claim-to-reference audits, plus worked examples of a full run, a mid-pipeline start and recovery from an integrity failure.

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Academic Research Pipeline loads about 15k tokens when it runs, and up to ~67k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 200 tokens; SKILL.md has 6,116 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 6,116 words (~14,688 tokens).
“A lightweight orchestrator that manages the complete academic pipeline from research exploration to final manuscript. It does not perform substantive work — it only detects stages, recommends modes, dispatches skills, manages transitions, and tracks state.”

Academic Research Pipeline fits situations like: taking a research idea all the way to a reviewed, revised manuscript; starting mid-way with an existing draft that needs review and revision; running integrity checks and a second review round before submission; recovering after an integrity check flags problems in a draft.
Run `npx skills add Imbad0202/academic-research-skills --skill academic-pipeline -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (academic-pipeline in Imbad0202/academic-research-skills) into .claude/skills/academic-pipeline in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add Imbad0202/academic-research-skills --skill academic-pipeline -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (academic-pipeline in Imbad0202/academic-research-skills) into .agents/skills/academic-pipeline in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add Imbad0202/academic-research-skills --skill academic-pipeline -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/academic-pipeline, .gemini/skills/academic-pipeline, .github/skills/academic-pipeline and .opencode/skills/academic-pipeline in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Academic Research Pipeline needs the command-line tools its instructions call (python3). Our summary lists: The deep-research, academic-paper and academic-paper-reviewer skills.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Academic Research Pipeline has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 15k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 59k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 52k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
