deep-researchRuns a 13-agent pipeline for rigorous academic research, from forming the question through systematic search, synthesis, bias checks and an APA 7.0 report.
The skill coordinates a set of specialist agents, each described in its own file, covering research question formulation, Socratic mentoring, methodology design, bibliography, source verification, cross-source synthesis, risk-of-bias assessment, meta-analysis, report compilation, editorial review, a devil's-advocate challenge, ethics review and post-research literature monitoring. It offers eight modes: full research, a quick brief, paper review, a literature review, fact-checking, a three-way literature scan, a Socratic guided dialogue, and a systematic review with an optional meta-analysis.
Requests are classified before any agent runs: an explicit slash command or an unambiguous trigger phrase routes straight to one skill, while anything else goes through clarification steps so the right mode and scope get confirmed first. The report compiler can apply an optional style profile as a soft guide and flags claims the cited sources do not support, rather than only hedging them. Bundled example files cover exploratory research, fact-check mode and handing results off into a paper draft.

Deep Research Agent Team loads about 13k tokens when it runs, and up to ~91k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 259 tokens; SKILL.md has 4,938 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 4,938 words (~12,569 tokens).

Deep Research Agent Team fits situations like: running a systematic literature review or meta-analysis on a topic; fact-checking a claim against primary sources; getting Socratic guidance to narrow down an unclear research direction; reviewing a paper draft for gaps or unsupported claims.
Run `npx skills add Imbad0202/academic-research-skills --skill deep-research -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (deep-research in Imbad0202/academic-research-skills) into .claude/skills/deep-research in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add Imbad0202/academic-research-skills --skill deep-research -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (deep-research in Imbad0202/academic-research-skills) into .agents/skills/deep-research in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add Imbad0202/academic-research-skills --skill deep-research -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/deep-research, .gemini/skills/deep-research, .github/skills/deep-research and .opencode/skills/deep-research in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Deep Research Agent Team needs the command-line tools its instructions call (python3).
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Deep Research Agent Team has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 13k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 50k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 78k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
