social-science-paper-writingHelps draft, diagnose, review and revise social science papers, from topic and research question to literature review, citation risks and pre-submission checks.
The skill picks one operating mode per task, such as topic diagnosis, research question refinement, outline building or literature review planning, and loads only the reference file that fits. References cover research design, data collection, data analysis, citation safety and a literature search workflow, with templates for revision reports and literature review matrices. Norms drawn from a course are marked as such and kept apart from general academic writing suggestions.
The literature workflow covers searching Chinese and English sources with CNKI and Google Scholar, importing records into Zotero, making structured paper notes and drafting a review only from verified sources. The skill also checks citation and evidence risks and causal claims, and applies a Missing Information Rule when you have not supplied enough to judge. It is not meant for purely creative writing or non-academic editing.
4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 6f4e06d. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are markdown).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Social Science Paper Writing loads about 7k tokens when it runs, and up to ~26k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 138 tokens; SKILL.md has 3,252 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 3,252 words (~6,980 tokens).

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Social Science Paper Writing is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: Zotero for importing literature records; CNKI or Google Scholar search tools, where available.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
No licence was found for Social Science Paper Writing or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 7k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 28k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 19k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
