cold-email-personalizationWrites personalized B2B cold emails from prospect research, using a gated workflow, a quality rubric and follow-up sequences.
A six-step workflow: map the ideal customer profile and objections, research signals from the last 90 days, choose a campaign path (Custom Signal, Creative Idea, Whole Offer or Fallback), draft the email, run QA and scoring, then build the follow-up sequence. Several steps carry gates, such as at least 2 verified signals per prospect and a score of 80 or more.
Drafts are plain text, 60 to 120 words, with one call to action and merge fields from a variable schema. The principles stress that research is the personalization, that each email has one job, and that facts are never invented. The assets folder holds the playbooks, rubric, checklist and worked examples that the steps point to.
6 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 78e0419. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Cold Email Personalization loads about 853 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 77 tokens; SKILL.md has 347 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Subject: {{first_name}}, growing the sales team?
Body: Hi {{first_name}}, saw {{company}} just brought on a new VP Sales — congrats. Specifically, it looks like you're scaling outbound to {{customer_type}}. We helped [similar company] ramp 3 new reps to quota 40% faster by templatizing their top performer's research workflow. Worth a 15-min look?
Why it works: Uses a verified, recent signal in the first line; ties it to a specific, relevant outcome; single clear CTA.
