seo-contentClusters the keywords a domain ranks for into topics, compares coverage with competitors and returns a content score using DataForSEO data.
The skill pulls a site's ranked keywords and its top competitors' keywords from DataForSEO Labs (ranked keywords, competitor domains and domain intersection) by running a Python helper, `domain_overview.py`, with three commands: ranked, competitors and content_gap. It then groups keywords into topical clusters by shared stems and head terms, aiming for roughly 8-15 clusters rather than fine-grained ones.
Each cluster is classified against competitors as strong, weak or missing, and the result is a Content Score from 0 to 100 plus a list of content opportunities to write next. Before anything runs, a preflight script checks for DataForSEO credentials. If they are missing, the agent shows a setup wizard, asks you to paste your login and API password, and saves them to a local .env file. The run costs about five cents. The skill is set up to use the Bash and Write tools.
7 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 67ac4f0. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves these tools, so the agent can use them without asking each time:

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are bash and json).

Names these keys or tokens, usually read from environment variables:
DATAFORSEO_PASSWORDFrom names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
SEO Content Authority loads about 1k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 78 tokens; SKILL.md has 360 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check noted patterns worth knowing about, such as sudo or a known installer.

It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, SEO Content Authority needs credentials named DATAFORSEO_PASSWORD. Our summary lists: A DataForSEO account with an API login and password; The companion seo skill's scripts in ~/.claude/skills/seo/scripts; Python for the helper scripts. Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Bash, Write.
SKILL.md names 1 domain. As links in the text: dataforseo.com. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found notes only (mentions a .env file; pre-approves every shell command (allowed-tools: bash)), nothing it rates as a warning. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
SEO Content Authority is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 1k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 4.2k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
