Game Design
ericrisco/rsc-harness
A skill your agent uses when designing or repairing what makes a game fun — verbs and mechanics, moment-to-moment/session/meta loops, progression, economy faucets and sinks, difficulty curves…
Builds a risk-matched whitebox or an approved production game candidate from a game design for its target runtime, with replayable evidence.

game-buildBuilds a risk-matched whitebox or an approved production game candidate from a game design for its target runtime, with replayable evidence.
This skill, documented in Chinese, builds a runnable game candidate from an approved design in one of two stages. The whitebox stage tests the riskiest design question in the form that exposes it, and the production stage implements the approved game design and art direction for the target runtime named in the product brief. It must not redo concept, level or art direction during the build.
Inputs are the game design file and, for a full candidate, an art direction file; missing product decisions go back to their owners. The agent declares a build stage and a build path (template or custom), compresses the product boundary, experience facts and completion evidence into a short build brief, and implements a minimal complete core loop of start, real input, state change, result and restart. When a generative model is used, it only interprets input and results while a rules engine owns what gets committed.
Failures are kept replayable with saved initial state, input paths and fixed seeds. Optional contracts cover Blender assets, playable model rules, voice production and generative media. Production adds one authoritative verification command so a QA skill can walk a clean start, core action, designed result and restart, and the output is a build brief plus the candidate.

Game Build From Design loads about 661 tokens when it runs, and up to ~3.4k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 127 tokens; SKILL.md has 128 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Game Build From Design is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: A GAME_DESIGN.md file, plus ART_DIRECTION.md for a full production candidate.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.

About 661 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.6k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 2.8k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
