novel-game-analyzeCondenses a novel or its deconstruction notes into a cited SOURCE_BIBLE of world rules, player verbs, spaces and systems, before any game genre is chosen.
This skill reads a novel, a deconstruction library or a writing project and boils it down to a fact layer that game designers can build on. It does not judge the prose and does not pick a game genre. Instead it records the world's rules, the verbs a player could perform, spaces, what characters want, candidate systems and visual anchors, with chapter or file locations attached to hard rules, key character goals and turning points.
The work follows a fixed pipeline: set the boundaries, extract unit by unit, check coverage, aggregate in layers, verify against the source text, then compress for delivery, with details in a bundled gameability-protocol.md reference. Existing full-book analysis is reused where possible, and a partial preview of the opening chapters is not accepted as proof that the whole book was understood. The result is analysis/SOURCE_BIBLE.md, with a coverage table, an adaptation-boundary table, a glossary, risks and design gaps. Quotes stay in the source language, and output language follows PRODUCT_BRIEF.md or the conversation.

Novel Game Adaptation Analysis loads about 558 tokens when it runs, and up to ~1.6k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 127 tokens; SKILL.md has 71 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
