strategy-reportBuilds a performance report for a backtested Pine Script strategy from TradingView data, covering metrics, trades, the equity curve and improvement ideas.
After a backtest on TradingView, the agent gathers results through the connected tools: overall strategy metrics, a trade list capped at 20, equity curve points, the chart state with symbol and timeframe, and symbol information. It then takes two screenshots, one of the chart with the strategy overlay and one of the Strategy Tester panel.
The analysis reports net profit and percent return, trade count, win rate, profit factor, maximum drawdown, average trade, Sharpe ratio and longest losing streak where available. It also compares the largest winner and loser, average winner against average loser, long against short results and time in the market, and judges whether the equity curve is smooth or front or back loaded. The output is a structured report followed by suggestions tied to thresholds, such as tighter entries when win rate is below 50% but profit factor is above 1, or position sizing changes when drawdown exceeds 20%.

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit c05b8f5. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Strategy Performance Report loads about 591 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 44 tokens; SKILL.md has 229 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 229 words (~591 tokens).

Run `npx skills add tradesdontlie/tradingview-mcp --skill strategy-report -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/strategy-report in tradesdontlie/tradingview-mcp) into .claude/skills/strategy-report in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add tradesdontlie/tradingview-mcp --skill strategy-report -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/strategy-report in tradesdontlie/tradingview-mcp) into .agents/skills/strategy-report in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add tradesdontlie/tradingview-mcp --skill strategy-report -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/strategy-report, .gemini/skills/strategy-report, .github/skills/strategy-report and .opencode/skills/strategy-report in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Strategy Performance Report is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: TradingView Desktop connected through the tradingview-mcp tools; A Pine Script strategy already backtested on the chart.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Strategy Performance Report has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 591 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.4k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
