chart-analysisSets up a TradingView chart with a symbol, timeframe and indicators, marks key levels, takes a screenshot and reports price range, levels and overall bias.
This skill walks the agent through technical analysis on a TradingView Desktop chart using the tradingview-mcp tools. It switches the symbol and timeframe, adds indicators by their full names (Relative Strength Index, Moving Average Exponential, MACD, Bollinger Bands, Volume, VWAP, Average True Range) and adjusts their inputs, for example changing an EMA length to 200.
It then scrolls to dates of interest, sets the visible range, draws horizontal support and resistance lines, trend lines and text notes, and captures a screenshot. Recent OHLCV data, the live quote and symbol details are pulled for the numbers. The final report gives the current price and recent range, key support and resistance levels, indicator readings and a bullish, bearish or neutral bias with reasoning. Indicators or drawings you did not ask for are removed afterwards.

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit c05b8f5. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

TradingView Chart Analysis loads about 515 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 45 tokens; SKILL.md has 238 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 238 words (~515 tokens).
“You are performing technical analysis on a TradingView chart.”

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: TradingView Chart Analysis is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: TradingView Desktop connected through the tradingview-mcp server.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
TradingView Chart Analysis has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 515 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
