draft-fabrication-plansTurns a finished CraftBot building model into cut lists, stick orders and full-scale printable sheets for building a physical scale model by hand.
A fabrication set regenerates one finished model version at real stock stick sizes and produces a cut list and order plus sheets drawn 1:1 so physical sticks can be laid directly on the printed paper; it's saved under a path keyed to the experiment, the run name and the version, and the source run folder itself is read-only, never edited. The kit's own code lives in a tools folder, documented through one reference file rather than the modules themselves, and a worked example from an earlier experiment shows the expected shape to copy.
Before building anything, it asks one question at a time, each with a recommendation: which run and version, since an experiment often has several and they should never be guessed between; the stock supplier, profiles and lengths, checking every variant's price and stock status since an out-of-stock profile isn't a real option; the paper size, defaulting to A2, and whether the whole model or a part gets built; and the scale and stick pairing once candidates are computed. Scale is set by the paper, not by preference, and whole sticks are preferred over ripped ones when that cuts the piece count.

CraftBot Fabrication Plan Drafter loads about 2.8k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 74 tokens; SKILL.md has 1,568 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 1,568 words (~2,821 tokens).

CraftBot Fabrication Plan Drafter fits situations like: producing fabrication drawings for a finished CraftBot model; generating a cut list and stick order for a physical scale model; choosing a paper size and scale that fits a model's largest view.
Run `npx skills add lukapiskorec/craftbot --skill draft-fabrication-plans -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/draft-fabrication-plans in lukapiskorec/craftbot) into .claude/skills/draft-fabrication-plans in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add lukapiskorec/craftbot --skill draft-fabrication-plans -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/draft-fabrication-plans in lukapiskorec/craftbot) into .agents/skills/draft-fabrication-plans in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add lukapiskorec/craftbot --skill draft-fabrication-plans -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/draft-fabrication-plans, .gemini/skills/draft-fabrication-plans, .github/skills/draft-fabrication-plans and .opencode/skills/draft-fabrication-plans in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, CraftBot Fabrication Plan Drafter needs the command-line tools its instructions call (python). Our summary lists: Blender, run headlessly via the bundled export script.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
CraftBot Fabrication Plan Drafter has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 2.8k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 11k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
