Algorithmic Art with p5.js
anthropics/skills
Creates original generative art in two steps: a written algorithmic philosophy, then a p5.js sketch with seeded randomness and an interactive viewer for exploring parameters.
Derives a building's dimensional grid from real sheet, panel, and transport constraints instead of hard-coding spacing numbers.

modular-grids-and-panelizationDerives a building's dimensional grid from real sheet, panel, and transport constraints instead of hard-coding spacing numbers.
The module comes from the actual sheet size in use: a 1220 by 2440 sheet gives a 1220 module and a 610 planning grid, so a European 600 mm sheet rescales the whole model coherently, while a soft-metric mismatch between nominal and actual stud spacing is treated as a warning sign that the grid was used wrong. Panel size is set by what a person or a truck can actually move rather than by aesthetics, so every element gets validated against real handling and trailer envelopes, with lapping and offsets preferred over butted, mitred edges that can't actually be built.
A tartan grid alternates wide panel bands with narrow structural bands so every joist and post lands on a band and no panel ever needs cutting, with the design order running plan-first: partitions laid out, then the frame following the plan rather than the reverse.

Modular Grids and Panelization loads about 1.5k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 50 tokens; SKILL.md has 926 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 926 words (~1,533 tokens).
“In panelized construction the dimensional system is derived, not chosen: sheet and panel sizes come from somewhere concrete (a sheet catalogue, a truck, two people lifting), and everything else follows. A generator should take those source constraints as inputs and…”

Panel size is set by what a person or a truck can actually move rather than by aesthetics, so every element gets validated against real handling and trailer envelopes, with lapping and offsets preferred over butted, mitred edges that can't actually be built.
Modular Grids and Panelization fits situations like: designing a dimensional grid for prefabricated or panelized construction; sizing panels against real transport or handling constraints; checking a design for stud spacing that doesn't divide evenly.

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Modular Grids and Panelization is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Modular Grids and Panelization has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 1.5k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 6.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
