intro-drafterDrafts the Introduction of a technical paper as six paragraphs of flowing prose, positioning the work and matching contributions to challenges, with an outline on request.
From a handful of inputs (research area, existing limitations, key idea, challenges, solution overview and optional references), the skill writes a technical paper's Introduction as six paragraphs of real prose. An internal flowchart covers background with a running example, limitations, problem essence and goal, challenges, solution overview and contributions, but it never shows in the output, which carries no headings, tags or consistency reports. An outline mode is available when you ask for one.
It positions the paper as either a Technique paper or a New Problem or Setting paper and lines up each contribution with a challenge. An evidence discipline applies: every claim must trace to your materials, to verified retrieval in the session or to common field knowledge, never to model memory, and details you did not give are left out instead of invented. It is built for STEM and technical papers, so benchmark papers, other sections and polishing go to sibling skills such as paper-writer and paper-polish. The licence is CC-BY-NC-SA-4.0, which limits commercial use.

Paper Introduction Drafter loads about 2.4k tokens when it runs, and up to ~13k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 126 tokens; SKILL.md has 1,283 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (CC-BY-NC-SA-4.0) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 1,283 words (~2,425 tokens).
“The Introduction is the compressed version of the entire paper. In one and a half to two pages it must state the research object, why the problem matters, why existing work falls short, what the paper contributes, and how the…”

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Paper Introduction Drafter is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Paper Introduction Drafter is published under the CC-BY-NC-SA-4.0 licence (declared in SKILL.md).
About 2.4k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 9.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 10k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
