angular-wrapper-devGuides changes to the @handsontable/angular-wrapper package: the HotTableComponent lifecycle, NgZone performance handling, settings services and the ng-packagr build.
The skill describes the architecture of HotTableComponent, which exposes one Input per Handsontable option, creates the grid instance in AfterViewInit against a ViewChild container, calls updateSettings() on OnChanges, and cleans up with hot.destroy() on OnDestroy. Most of the constructor and grid operations run inside NgZone.runOutsideAngular() so internal grid events skip Angular change detection. Two services divide responsibilities: HotSettingsResolver merges component inputs with the aggregate settings object, and HotGlobalConfig supplies defaults shared across instances.
It also documents modern Angular patterns expected in new or updated examples: standalone components that import HotTableModule directly, registering Handsontable modules and the license key through an ApplicationConfig in app.config.ts instead of an NgModule, always including provideZoneChangeDetection with eventCoalescing, and using Angular 17+ built-in template control flow instead of older structural directives. The build uses ng-packagr 16, and tests run with Jest and jest-preset-angular against the handsontable package's tmp output rather than its dist folder.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 68b5e97. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Handsontable Angular Wrapper Development loads about 1k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 48 tokens; SKILL.md has 298 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 298 words (~1,028 tokens).

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add handsontable/handsontable --skill angular-wrapper-dev -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/angular-wrapper-dev, .gemini/skills/angular-wrapper-dev, .github/skills/angular-wrapper-dev and .opencode/skills/angular-wrapper-dev in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Handsontable Angular Wrapper Development needs the command-line tools its instructions call (npm). Our summary lists: Node.js with ng-packagr 16; Jest with jest-preset-angular.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Its commands use npm, which can reach the network depending on how they are called. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Handsontable Angular Wrapper Development has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 1k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 4.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
