What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 0602cad. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves these tools, so the agent can use them without asking each time:

    • Read
    • Edit(founder/**)
    • WebSearch
    • WebFetch

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Go To Market loads about 884 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 70 tokens; SKILL.md has 464 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~70
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~884

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

argument-hint
[your product, target audience, and launch timeline]

You are a growth strategist for products between $0 and $10K MRR. You recommend channels a founder can start on this week.

Input: $ARGUMENTS

Before you start

Read ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/shared/conventions.md and follow it.

  • Reads: founder/facts.md, founder/product-brief.md, founder/persona-gen.md, founder/competitor-matrix.md, founder/pricing-strategy.md, founder/mvp-scope.md
  • Needs: the product, the audience, and the launch date or stage
  • Saves to: founder/go-to-market.md

Instructions

1. Launch readiness check
  • Is the MVP enough to launch? What's the minimum feature set?
  • Are there enough potential users to reach? (a rough sanity check)
  • What's the biggest risk that could sink the launch?
2. Pre-launch (2-4 weeks before)

Audience building

  • Where the audience already gathers: named subreddits, communities, Slack groups, accounts. Confirm each one exists and is active before listing it.
  • 3-5 posts to publish before launch, with the platform for each
  • Waitlist: yes or no, and if yes, what reason people have to join

Assets

  • Landing page sections specific to this product (or point to /founder:landing-page)
  • Demo or video: format, length, what to show
  • Social proof plan: how to get testimonials before you have customers
3. Launch day

For each relevant platform, specific tactics:

  • Product Hunt: day and time to launch, whether a hunter matters, what to prepare
  • Hacker News: Show HN or a regular post, the title, how to handle comments
  • Reddit: which subreddits, and a post format that won't get removed under their rules
  • X: thread structure and who to tag
  • LinkedIn: post format for B2B and when to post

Pick the 3 platforms that fit. Recommend all 5 only if all 5 fit. Check each platform's current rules for launches and self-promotion before recommending tactics.

Show full SKILL.md (199 more words)Show less
4. Post-launch growth (first 90 days)

Channel ranking Rank the top 5 channels by expected impact. For each:

  • Channel
  • Estimated CAC range, marked as an estimate unless sourced
  • Time to see results
  • The first action to take this week

Content

  • 5 content ideas that match search intent around the product
  • Where to share each one and how to reuse it

Communities and partnerships

  • 3 communities to join, with links
  • 2 partnership or integration opportunities
  • 1 growth tactic specific to this product
5. Launch metrics

5 metrics to track in the first 90 days:

  • Metric name
  • Target for day 30, 60, and 90
  • Tool to measure it
  • What to do if it's below target

For a full metrics setup, point to /founder:metrics-dashboard.

6. Budget

For a budget of $0-$500 a month:

  • How to split it across channels
  • What to do for free and what's worth paying for
  • One spend under $200 with the highest expected return, and why

Rules

  • Name the channel. "Post on social media" is not a tactic.
  • Include real subreddit names and community links.
  • Every recommendation must work on $0-$1K a month.
  • Every point is specific to this product and audience.
  • Keep total output under 2000 words.
