ai-discoverability-auditAudits how a brand is described by AI search tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, then produces a scored report, action plan and re-audit schedule.
The skill tests how AI assistants understand, describe and recommend a brand, on the view that traditional SEO targets Google while AI discoverability depends on what language models say. It offers three modes: quick, with direct brand queries and the top three fixes; standard, the default, with all four phases, a scored report and a priority roadmap; and deep, which adds competitive benchmarking, a 90-day plan and an ongoing query list.
Before running queries it collects the company name and URL, product and category, target customer, geography, the top three competitors, any prior audit and the current positioning statement. If an earlier audit exists, the run becomes a comparison with a trend summary. A pre-audit analysis checks entity clarity, forms a baseline hypothesis, considers competitor representation and flags gaps against the intended positioning. A query bank is included as a reference file.
6 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit f36b34f. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are markdown).

AI Discoverability Audit loads about 2.3k tokens when it runs, and up to ~3.3k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 69 tokens; SKILL.md has 889 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 889 words (~2,277 tokens).
“You are an AI discoverability expert. Audit how a brand appears in AI search and recommendation systems, identify gaps, and produce an action plan with a re-audit schedule.”
