woocommerce-git-draft-prOpens a concise draft pull request for the current branch, working out change type, base branch, title and body from the commits and diff.
The skill gathers context with shell commands: the current branch, commits ahead of `trunk`, a diff stat, uncommitted changes, existing changelog files and the PR template. It stops if you are on trunk, if no commits are ahead or if the working tree has uncommitted changes. The base branch is a `release/*` branch when the work started from one and `trunk` otherwise.
It then classifies the change as Fix, Add, Update, Dev, Tweak, Performance or Enhancement, rates its significance as patch, minor or major, and checks for issue references, UI changes and whether the code ships to plugin users, which drives milestone and changelog handling. Titles are verb-first and under 70 characters, with no `fix:` or `feat:` prefixes and no Linear ticket references, because the repository's PRs are public.
5 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit b41b964. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
gitghFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use git and gh, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
WooCommerce Draft PR Creator loads about 1.1k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 48 tokens; SKILL.md has 570 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 570 words (~1,135 tokens).
“Create a concise, reviewer-friendly draft PR from the current branch.”
Just SKILL.md in .ai/skills/woocommerce-git-draft-pr of woocommerce/woocommerce.

Automates a version release with changesets: analyzes code changes, writes a bilingual CHANGELOG, bumps the version and commits through a release branch and pull request.
ZaxbyHub/opencode-swarm
Codex adapter for opencode-swarm that governs commits, pushes, draft PRs, PR body updates and CI closeout, deferring to the repo's canonical commit-pr protocol.
HKUDS/OpenHarness
Merges external GitHub pull requests while keeping the original author credited, and fixes conflicts after the merge instead of rewriting the contribution.
cline/cline
Opens a GitHub pull request from your current branch with the gh CLI, after reviewing the commits and diff and gathering the details the PR needs.
jamiepine/voicebox
Ends a release cycle by moving the Unreleased changelog notes under a dated version heading, bumping version files with bumpversion and tagging the commit.
redis/jedis
Generate a clear, concise GitHub PR title and description from the diff between two local git branches, and save it to prDescription.md in the repo root.
woocommerce/woocommerce
Reviews WooCommerce code changes against the project's standards, flagging backend PHP architecture, naming, documentation, data integrity and testing violations.
woocommerce/woocommerce
Rules for writing and editing markdown in the WooCommerce repository, with the project's markdownlint settings for headings, lists and code blocks.
woocommerce/woocommerce
Sets up a local environment for the WooCommerce block email editor, with a watcher, Mailpit email capture and build and test commands for its PHP and JS packages.
woocommerce/woocommerce
Workflow for WooCommerce development: run PHP and JavaScript tests, lint and fix code style on the current branch, and follow guides for i18n and markdown.
woocommerce/woocommerce
Commits pending changes with short, verb-first messages that follow WooCommerce repository conventions, splitting commits only when changes are clearly unrelated.
woocommerce/woocommerce
Starts, stops, restarts, and troubleshoots the WooCommerce Core wp-env setup and its asset build watchers without re-reading the setup docs.

WooCommerce Draft PR Creator fits situations like: pushing a finished branch and opening a draft PR; writing a reviewer-friendly PR description from the commit history; deciding whether a change needs a changelog entry and milestone.
Run `npx skills add woocommerce/woocommerce --skill woocommerce-git-draft-pr -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.ai/skills/woocommerce-git-draft-pr in woocommerce/woocommerce) into .claude/skills/woocommerce-git-draft-pr in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add woocommerce/woocommerce --skill woocommerce-git-draft-pr -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.ai/skills/woocommerce-git-draft-pr in woocommerce/woocommerce) into .agents/skills/woocommerce-git-draft-pr in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add woocommerce/woocommerce --skill woocommerce-git-draft-pr -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/woocommerce-git-draft-pr, .gemini/skills/woocommerce-git-draft-pr, .github/skills/woocommerce-git-draft-pr and .opencode/skills/woocommerce-git-draft-pr in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, WooCommerce Draft PR Creator needs the command-line tools its instructions call (git and gh). Our summary lists: A Git checkout of the WooCommerce repository with a `trunk` branch.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Its commands use git and gh, which can reach the network depending on how they are called. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
WooCommerce Draft PR Creator has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 1.1k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 4.5k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
