Update .NET Distro Packages
dotnet/core
Creates and maintains the per-distro JSON files that list the native packages .NET needs on each Linux distribution, scoped to one .NET version.
Updates chosen or all Nix flake inputs, checks the result with nix flake check and a system rebuild, fixes warnings, then offers to commit.

nix-flake-updaterUpdates chosen or all Nix flake inputs, checks the result with nix flake check and a system rebuild, fixes warnings, then offers to commit.
The skill walks the agent through refreshing flake.lock in a NixOS configuration. A bundled script, scripts/update_flake.sh, lists the inputs found in flake.nix and runs the update, and the agent asks which inputs you want to bump or whether to update all of them.
Verification is mandatory. The agent runs nix flake check and treats warnings about renamed, replaced, deprecated or unknown options as stop signs even when the exit code is 0, fixing the configuration before it rebuilds. The rebuild goes through a separate nixos-rebuild skill, and any failure starts a loop of reading the message, finding the cause, editing the config and retrying. Once the build is clean it asks whether to commit, handing off to a git-workflow skill with messages such as chore: update flake inputs. The SKILL.md itself is written in Chinese.

Nix Flake Updater loads about 469 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 23 tokens; SKILL.md has 173 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 173 words (~469 tokens).

Nix Flake Updater fits situations like: bumping every flake.lock input in a NixOS configuration; updating a few chosen flake inputs rather than all of them; fixing renamed or deprecated options that surface after an input update; verifying a lock-file update with nix flake check and a rebuild before committing.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Nix Flake Updater needs a shell for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (nix). Our summary lists: Nix with a NixOS flake.nix configuration; The nixos-rebuild skill's rebuild-wrapper.sh script; Git, for the optional commit.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
No licence was found for Nix Flake Updater or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 469 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 1.9k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
