flake-analyzerProduces a quick structured report on a NixOS Flake repository, covering its hosts and Nix file count, by calling the flake-stats-mcp tool.
This skill, written in Chinese, builds a structured report on the current NixOS Flake repository. When you ask to check your Flake or how big it is, the agent calls get_flake_summary on the flake-stats-mcp server, which returns the list of hosts (k-on, minimal and yu) and the total number of Nix files, and then presents them as a readable summary in Chinese.
It also checks that the hosts/ directory follows Flake conventions and judges how complex the setup is from the file count. With more than two hosts it suggests verifying each host's default.nix, and with more than 100 Nix files it suggests splitting the directories more finely. After every run, the agent confirms that the reported figures match what is actually in the working directory.

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

NixOS Flake Analyzer loads about 199 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 21 tokens; SKILL.md has 64 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 64 words (~199 tokens).

Goldziher/basemind
Answers structural questions about a repository, such as where a symbol is defined, what calls it and what changed recently, through the basemind MCP server.
nikolai-vysotskyi/trace-mcp
Routes code exploration through trace-mcp's indexed dependency graph, using symbol search, outlines, call graphs and change-impact tools instead of Read, Grep and Glob.
nikolai-vysotskyi/trace-mcp
Use trace-mcp tools for code navigation, impact analysis, and framework-aware queries instead of Read/Grep/Glob/Bash.
Helweg/open-codebase-index
Chooses the right retrieval tool for code questions: compact context for unfamiliar repos, direct lookup for known symbols, call graphs for relationships and grep for exhaustive matches.
Helweg/open-codebase-index
Directs an agent to use a local codebase index for repository orientation, definition lookups, call graphs and semantic search before turning to web lookups.
comol/ai_rules_1c
Find BSL code in a 1C project — routines by name, code by behaviour or exact literal, module layout, members of a context — through the graph and code-metadata MCP servers before any Grep.
Ruixi-rebirth/flakes
Updates chosen or all Nix flake inputs, checks the result with nix flake check and a system rebuild, fixes warnings, then offers to commit.
Ruixi-rebirth/flakes
Rebuilds a Flake-based NixOS system through a wrapper script that validates, formats, picks the host, runs the chosen rebuild mode and checks the result.
Ruixi-rebirth/flakes
Reviews Nix expressions, NixOS modules and flake.nix files for style, naming, maintainability and extensibility, then runs nix fmt and nix flake check.

NixOS Flake Analyzer fits situations like: getting a quick size and host overview of a NixOS Flake repository; checking that the hosts/ directory follows Flake layout conventions; deciding whether a Flake has grown big enough to split into smaller directories.
Run `npx skills add Ruixi-rebirth/flakes --skill flake-analyzer -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/flake-analyzer in Ruixi-rebirth/flakes) into .claude/skills/flake-analyzer in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add Ruixi-rebirth/flakes --skill flake-analyzer -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/flake-analyzer in Ruixi-rebirth/flakes) into .agents/skills/flake-analyzer in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add Ruixi-rebirth/flakes --skill flake-analyzer -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/flake-analyzer, .gemini/skills/flake-analyzer, .github/skills/flake-analyzer and .opencode/skills/flake-analyzer in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: NixOS Flake Analyzer is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: The flake-stats-mcp MCP server connected; A NixOS Flake repository as the working directory.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
No licence was found for NixOS Flake Analyzer or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 199 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 796 characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
