screen-detoxWalks you through cutting back compulsive phone, short-video and social media use by replacing habits and changing your environment.
The skill treats feed-based content such as social media, news, short video and games as dopamine snacks that trade long-term costs for a short-term hit. It does not rely on willpower. You admit the mechanism, name non-screen sources of wellbeing like sunlight, exercise and face-to-face talk, replace the habit in steps and reshape your surroundings. It is drawn from the happiness chapter of Naval Ravikant's almanack, and the skill text is written in Chinese.
Four steps: track screen time for 3 days and pick the single worst consumption app or time slot; make one environment change, such as moving the app off the home screen, uninstalling it, setting a limit or leaving the phone in another room; prepare a non-screen replacement for each trigger moment, like commuting, bedtime or waiting for food; and tell three friends your goal. After 3 or more relapses in 7 days the goal is shrunk, without self-blame. It separates work screens from consumption screens and flags the author's claim that all screen use lowers happiness as too strong.
4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Screen Detox loads about 679 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 53 tokens; SKILL.md has 165 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Screen Detox is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.

About 679 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
