life-meaningGuides a reflective conversation about the meaning of life, emptiness or lack of direction, using three answers from a book about Naval and four practical steps.
Distilled from a chapter on happiness in a book about Naval, the skill answers questions such as what life is for or why keep striving. Its core idea is that meaning is not handed down from outside: it is personal, you create it, and it comes with a willingness to suffer for it. It offers three layers of answer: meaning is private and must be found by each person, life has no meaning at cosmic scale so you create your own, and life is a local reduction of entropy that pushes the universe toward heat death.
Four steps follow: acknowledge the cosmic scale and check whether that eases the pressure to be right or remembered, list the three most meaningful things in your real record and confirm each involved sacrifice, write a one-sentence meaning claim labeled as made up but wanted, and bring mortality into decisions with a monthly question about living if only a year remained. The boundary section rules out acute crisis or suicide risk, where professional help comes first, and people seeking a traditional religious answer, and it names the author's blind spots.
4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit a28de55. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Life Meaning Reflection Guide loads about 644 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 46 tokens; SKILL.md has 147 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
