doctorChecks that the tools and Python packages needed for a math modeling paper workflow are installed and offers platform-specific install commands for anything missing.
Run only when you ask for it, this skill audits the machine for everything the mathematical modeling workflow relies on and offers to install what is missing. It checks for the Typst and XeLaTeX paper compilers, Python 3, draw.io for exporting flowcharts to PDF, one of pdftoppm, mutool or magick for turning PDFs into PNGs for visual checks, and the Python packages numpy, scipy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn and openpyxl.
It detects the platform and package manager first (brew on macOS, apt, dnf or pacman on Linux, winget, scoop or choco on Windows), prints a status report and separates required items from optional ones. Required are a paper compiler, either Typst or XeLaTeX, plus Python 3, numpy, pandas and matplotlib. Install commands are shown only for what is missing, and they are executed after you confirm.
6 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.

Math Modeling Environment Doctor loads about 1.5k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 17 tokens; SKILL.md has 366 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check noted patterns worth knowing about, such as sudo or a known installer.

Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 366 words (~1,453 tokens).

Run `npx skills add jihe520/MathModelAgent --skill doctor -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/doctor in jihe520/MathModelAgent) into .claude/skills/doctor in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add jihe520/MathModelAgent --skill doctor -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/doctor in jihe520/MathModelAgent) into .agents/skills/doctor in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add jihe520/MathModelAgent --skill doctor -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/doctor, .gemini/skills/doctor, .github/skills/doctor and .opencode/skills/doctor in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Math Modeling Environment Doctor needs the command-line tools its instructions call (brew, winget, apt, dnf, python3 and pip3). Our summary lists: Shell access to run the detection commands; A package manager such as brew, apt, winget or scoop. Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Bash(*), Read, Write.
SKILL.md names 1 domain. As links in the text: github.com. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found notes only (runs commands with sudo), nothing it rates as a warning. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.

About 1.5k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 5.8k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
