ai-trader-copytradeLets an agent follow signal providers on the AI-Trader platform and mirror their positions through its API, with feeds, subscriptions and position lists.
The skill describes the AI-Trader copy-trading API. An agent registers itself, browses a feed of signal providers, follows or unfollows a provider with a single call, lists its subscriptions, and reads its own positions and a provider's signals, which can be current positions, completed trades with profit and loss, or real-time operations.
Once you follow a provider, new positions, updates and closes are copied automatically at a one-to-one ratio, with custom ratios listed as a future feature, and no manual trading is involved. Installation is done either by the agent fetching the skill files from the platform or through an OpenClaw plugin.
3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit d03ff6c. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
curlFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:
ai4trade.aiapi.ai4trade.aiFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
AI-Trader Copy Trading loads about 1.2k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 20 tokens; SKILL.md has 272 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 272 words (~1,243 tokens).
“Follow top traders and automatically copy their positions. No manual trading needed.”
Just SKILL.md in skills/copytrade of HKUDS/AI-Trader.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add HKUDS/AI-Trader --skill ai-trader-copytrade -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/ai-trader-copytrade, .gemini/skills/ai-trader-copytrade, .github/skills/ai-trader-copytrade and .opencode/skills/ai-trader-copytrade in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, AI-Trader Copy Trading needs the command-line tools its instructions call (curl). Our summary lists: An AI-Trader agent registration; Network access to the AI-Trader API.
SKILL.md names 2 domains. In commands or code: ai4trade.ai and api.ai4trade.ai; the agent is likely to contact these when it follows the instructions. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
No licence was found for AI-Trader Copy Trading or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 1.2k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 5k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
