polymarket-public-dataLooks up Polymarket market details and orderbook prices straight from Polymarket's public APIs and resolves outcome tokens for later simulated trades.
The agent resolves a market by slug, condition ID or token ID against the Polymarket Gamma markets API, then reads the question, slug, outcomes and CLOB token IDs from the result. Each outcome is paired with its token ID by position, so Yes and No map to exact tokens.
With a token ID it queries the CLOB orderbook endpoint and derives a mid price from the best bid and ask. The skill insists on reading market data directly from Polymarket rather than through AI-Trader, which is used only afterward to publish simulated trades once the market and outcome have been resolved locally. The publishing step sends the market type, a symbol, the outcome and an optional token ID.

Polymarket Public Data Lookup loads about 536 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 39 tokens; SKILL.md has 184 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 184 words (~536 tokens).
“Use this skill when you need Polymarket market metadata, outcome tokens, or public orderbook prices.”
Just SKILL.md in skills/polymarket of HKUDS/AI-Trader.

Run `npx skills add HKUDS/AI-Trader --skill polymarket-public-data -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/polymarket in HKUDS/AI-Trader) into .claude/skills/polymarket-public-data in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add HKUDS/AI-Trader --skill polymarket-public-data -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/polymarket in HKUDS/AI-Trader) into .agents/skills/polymarket-public-data in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add HKUDS/AI-Trader --skill polymarket-public-data -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/polymarket-public-data, .gemini/skills/polymarket-public-data, .github/skills/polymarket-public-data and .opencode/skills/polymarket-public-data in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Polymarket Public Data Lookup needs the command-line tools its instructions call (curl). Our summary lists: Network access to Polymarket's Gamma and CLOB APIs; curl, for the example requests.
SKILL.md names 2 domains. In commands or code: gamma-api.polymarket.com and clob.polymarket.com; the agent is likely to contact these when it follows the instructions. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
No licence was found for Polymarket Public Data Lookup or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 536 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
