finance-metrics-quickrefLooks up SaaS finance metric definitions, formulas, benchmarks and red flags on demand, organized into revenue, unit economics, capital efficiency and efficiency ratios.
This is a cheat sheet rather than a teaching tool. You name a metric and get the formula, a benchmark and decision context, and you can also supply your own numbers so the formula is applied on the spot. If you arrive without a specific metric, it asks which family you are working in. Anything passed with the invocation counts as already answered, so it does not ask again.
Metrics sit in four families: revenue and growth (revenue, ARPU, ARPA, MRR and ARR, churn, NRR, expansion), unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback, margins), capital efficiency (burn rate, runway, OpEx, net income) and efficiency ratios (Rule of 40, magic number). A master table gives each metric's formula, meaning, a good benchmark and a red flag. For detailed calculations or learning the metrics, it points to the saas-revenue-growth-metrics and saas-economics-efficiency-metrics skills. The excerpt is cut off inside the table.
4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 1b5a524. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

SaaS Finance Metrics Quick Reference loads about 4.1k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 42 tokens; SKILL.md has 1,966 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 1,966 words (~4,085 tokens).
“Quick reference for any SaaS finance metric without deep teaching. Use this when you need a fast formula lookup, benchmark check, or decision framework reminder. For detailed explanations, calculations, and examples, see the related deep-dive skills.”

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: SaaS Finance Metrics Quick Reference is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
SaaS Finance Metrics Quick Reference has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 4.1k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 16k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
