prioritization-advisorPicks the right prioritization framework for your stage and context instead of defaulting to RICE or ICE out of habit.
Scoring frameworks such as RICE, ICE, value-versus-effort, and weighted scoring sit alongside strategic ones like Kano, opportunity scoring, buy-a-feature, and MoSCoW, and contextual ones such as cost of delay, impact mapping, and story mapping; the advisor asks about product stage, team size, data availability, and which frameworks have already failed before recommending one with concrete implementation steps. The goal is avoiding what it calls framework whiplash, switching methods constantly, or mismatching a data-hungry framework like RICE to a team with no usage data yet.
4 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 1b5a524. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are markdown).

Prioritization Framework Advisor loads about 4.2k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 47 tokens; SKILL.md has 1,683 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 1,683 words (~4,241 tokens).
“Guide product managers in choosing the right prioritization framework by asking adaptive questions about product stage, team context, decision-making needs, and stakeholder dynamics. Use this to avoid "framework whiplash" (switching frameworks constantly) or applying the wrong framework (e.g., using RICE…”

Run `npx skills add deanpeters/Product-Manager-Skills --skill prioritization-advisor -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/prioritization-advisor in deanpeters/Product-Manager-Skills) into .agents/skills/prioritization-advisor in your project. Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add deanpeters/Product-Manager-Skills --skill prioritization-advisor -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Prioritization Framework Advisor has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 4.2k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 17k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
