wos-navigate-pagesJumps to a given page of Web of Science search results, or loads more results from the previous search, by changing the results URL or re-running the search API.
The skill offers two approaches. Approach A applies when the browser is on a results page: change the page number at the end of the results URL, navigate, and extract the records with evaluate_script and DOM selectors, using 2 tool calls. Approach B is preferred and uses a single tool call, re-running the search API from within the page with an offset in retrieve.first.
The API route needs the original query, editions and sort from the earlier wos-search call. retrieve.first is a 1-based record offset, so 1 is the first record and 51 is page 2, with 50 records per page and a ceiling of 100,000 accessible records. It belongs to a set of Web of Science skills that drive Chrome through the DevTools MCP.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 268b139. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are javascript).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
WoS Results Page Navigation loads about 751 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 28 tokens; SKILL.md has 105 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 105 words (~751 tokens).

WoS Results Page Navigation fits situations like: moving to a later page of a Web of Science results list; loading more results from the last WoS search; paging through a large result set with one API call per page.
Run `npx skills add cookjohn/wos-skills --skill wos-navigate-pages -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/wos-navigate-pages in cookjohn/wos-skills) into .claude/skills/wos-navigate-pages in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add cookjohn/wos-skills --skill wos-navigate-pages -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/wos-navigate-pages in cookjohn/wos-skills) into .agents/skills/wos-navigate-pages in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add cookjohn/wos-skills --skill wos-navigate-pages -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/wos-navigate-pages, .gemini/skills/wos-navigate-pages, .github/skills/wos-navigate-pages and .opencode/skills/wos-navigate-pages in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: WoS Results Page Navigation is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: Chrome connected through the DevTools MCP, on Web of Science; An earlier wos-search call in the same session.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
No licence was found for WoS Results Page Navigation or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 751 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
