source-mongodb-v2-e2e-testsStarts a throwaway MongoDB 7.0 replica set and runs the Airbyte spec, check, discover and read commands against source-mongodb-v2 images for local end-to-end testing.
A local test harness for the Airbyte MongoDB source connector, this skill starts a MongoDB 7.0 container named source-mongodb-v2-db-backend as a single-node replica set called rs0, applies mongosh JavaScript fixtures to it, and then runs the Airbyte protocol commands spec, check, discover and read against any source-mongodb-v2 image through the airbyte-ops regression-test command.
Shell scripts in the folder start and reset the backend and apply fixtures, and a base config template sits under fixtures. The container runs without authentication, though you can add credentials to a copied template to reproduce auth-specific issues, and the replica set is required even for non-CDC reads. You can compare a target image with a control image to prove a fix.
Scope is limited to non-CDC behavior, meaning full-refresh and initial-snapshot reads. Change-stream resume-token replay and CDC comparison flows are not covered, and no Atlas, secret manager or Cloud admin credentials are needed.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 8dbd366. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

MongoDB Source Connector E2E Harness loads about 1.9k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 97 tokens; SKILL.md has 728 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 728 words (~1,878 tokens).

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, MongoDB Source Connector E2E Harness needs a shell and JavaScript for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (uvx). Our summary lists: Docker; uv, with airbyte-internal-ops installed; jq; A clone of the airbytehq/airbyte repository.
SKILL.md names 1 domain. As links in the text: docs.astral.sh. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
MongoDB Source Connector E2E Harness has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 1.9k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 7.5k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
