What it does
A user relays a piece of market news and asks whether it matters, how large the impact is and whether to escalate. The agent first verifies the claim: it checks today's date with `get_current_time`, searches the event with `bocha_search` using at least two keyword sets to find independent sources, flags a single-source report as unconfirmed, and says plainly when nothing corroborates the story instead of inventing details.
It then assigns a grade. P0 is a direct hit on the main product's sales, such as a major competitor price cut of 15% or more, P1 a visible but indirect move such as a smaller promotion, a channel change or a leadership change, and P2 a watch-only signal such as a rumor. Impact is judged against the competitor profile, qualitatively when no internal data exists. The output is a lightweight HTML alert card plus a one-sentence conclusion, and P0 or P1 alerts that must be archived or sent out go through `publish_briefing` for approval. The agent grades lower when unsure and never writes the HTML to disk.
