publish-appPrepares a Twenty app for npm or marketplace release: package metadata, defineApplication listing fields, README and About copy, logo, screenshots and public assets.
Pick this when an existing Twenty app has to look right before it goes public. The agent inspects package.json, README.md, src/application-config.ts and the public folder, then checks that the package carries a bumped version and the twenty-app keyword. Inside defineApplication() it verifies the listing fields: displayName, description, author, category, logoUrl, screenshots, aboutDescription, websiteUrl, termsUrl, emailSupport and issueReportUrl.
logoUrl and screenshots must point at files in public, which must hold no secrets, customer records or unreleased material. If aboutDescription is left out, the marketplace falls back to the npm README, and the About tab renders plain markdown only, with no images or raw HTML. Validation runs with yarn twenty dev:build and publishing with yarn twenty app:publish. Scaffolding, entity changes, private deployments and workspace queries are left to other skills.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 22ada84. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Twenty App Publishing loads about 745 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 58 tokens; SKILL.md has 350 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 350 words (~745 tokens).

Twenty App Publishing fits situations like: preparing a Twenty app for the marketplace; writing the README or About text for a Twenty app listing; adding a logo, screenshots and marketplace metadata to defineApplication; reviewing a listing before shipping a new version to npm.
Run `npx skills add twentyhq/twenty --skill publish-app -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (packages/twenty-agent-skills/skills/publish-app in twentyhq/twenty) into .claude/skills/publish-app in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add twentyhq/twenty --skill publish-app -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (packages/twenty-agent-skills/skills/publish-app in twentyhq/twenty) into .agents/skills/publish-app in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add twentyhq/twenty --skill publish-app -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/publish-app, .gemini/skills/publish-app, .github/skills/publish-app and .opencode/skills/publish-app in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Twenty App Publishing needs the command-line tools its instructions call (yarn). Our summary lists: A Twenty app project with package.json and src/application-config.ts; Yarn with the twenty CLI for dev:build and app:publish.
SKILL.md names 1 domain. In commands or code: docs.twenty.com; the agent is likely to contact it when it follows the instructions. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Twenty App Publishing has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 745 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
