Tailwind Design Tokens is an agent skill from TheGoat395/Codex-Skills. Map semantic tokens into Tailwind utilities.
Its SKILL.md is about 430 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 4 other files, including reference files (for example `agents/openai.yaml` and `references/tailwind-design-tokens-guide.md`).
It sits in Frontend & Design, covering CSS and styling and Design tokens. It works with Tailwind CSS. The repository describes itself as: Codex-first Agent Skills library for premium frontend, website, motion, accessibility, QA, and handoff workflows. The licence is MIT.

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit feff772. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Tailwind Design Tokens loads about 425 tokens when it runs, and up to ~884 if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 17 tokens; SKILL.md has 200 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from TheGoat395/Codex-Skills at commit feff772, republished under its MIT licence (© TheGoat395). 200 words, ~425 tokens.

This skill also uses 2 other files; get the full folder from GitHub.For substantial web work, reuse the scoped web contract when available; it replaces duplicated policy here. Match the requested scope and existing decisions; a missing optional sibling does not block this local procedure.
Make Tailwind feel like a design system, not utility confetti. Tailwind is fast, but the taste comes from tokens, constraints, and repeated decisions.
references/tailwind-design-tokens-guide.md.Read references/tailwind-design-tokens-guide.md when this skill triggers for a concrete website build, redesign, visual review, or implementation plan.
Own token consumption by the installed Tailwind version and mapping to utilities/aliases. Use design-token-production-pipeline, if installed, only when generation, validation or multiple output consumers require a compiler contract. Otherwise, retain the existing token source, document its output consumers, and check generated values and aliases against that source. Do not add a compiler just to replace a missing specialist.

Tailwind Design Tokens fits situations like: tasks that involve CSS and styling; tasks that involve Design tokens.
Run `npx skills add TheGoat395/Codex-Skills --skill tailwind-design-tokens -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/tailwind-design-tokens in TheGoat395/Codex-Skills) into .claude/skills/tailwind-design-tokens in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add TheGoat395/Codex-Skills --skill tailwind-design-tokens -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/tailwind-design-tokens in TheGoat395/Codex-Skills) into .agents/skills/tailwind-design-tokens in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add TheGoat395/Codex-Skills --skill tailwind-design-tokens -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/tailwind-design-tokens, .gemini/skills/tailwind-design-tokens, .github/skills/tailwind-design-tokens and .opencode/skills/tailwind-design-tokens in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Tailwind Design Tokens is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Tailwind Design Tokens is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 425 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 1.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 459 tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
Skills that share tags, products or a category with Tailwind Design Tokens: MCP Development (coollabsio/coolify, 63k stars), Tailwind Design System (SuFxGIT/scoutarr, 115 stars), Extract Design (Manavarya09/design-extract, 4.2k stars) and Tailwind Theme Builder (jezweb/claude-skills, 1.1k stars).
