ai-pricingHelps founders and product teams choose a charge metric, shape pricing tiers and set margin targets for AI products whose compute costs rise with usage.
The agent acts as a pricing strategist for AI products. Before it recommends anything, it asks what is being priced (a copilot, an agent, an AI-enabled service or an API), who the buyer is, what the current pricing looks like, which models and token volumes drive cost, and how the product is sold.
The central step is picking one of three charge metrics: consumption (tokens, calls, credits), workflow (an automation run, an agent task, a processed document) or outcome (a resolved ticket, a qualified lead). A table sets out what each one bills for, when it fits and what to watch for, and a decision framework walks through the choice. An implementation guide and a quick-reference sheet ship as reference files.
The description adds per-seat and usage-based models, bring-your-own-key setups, tier design and margin management. The scope is pricing strategy only, not technical implementation or code review.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 6df68d5. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

AI Product Pricing loads about 3.6k tokens when it runs, and up to ~8.6k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 131 tokens; SKILL.md has 1,519 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 1,519 words (~3,641 tokens).

Before it recommends anything, it asks what is being priced (a copilot, an agent, an AI-enabled service or an API), who the buyer is, what the current pricing looks like, which models and token volumes drive cost, and how the product is sold.
AI Product Pricing fits situations like: choosing between per-token, per-task and per-outcome billing for an AI feature; designing pricing tiers and packaging for an AI-native product; checking whether variable model costs leave a workable margin; moving an AI product off per-seat or flat-rate pricing.
Run `npx skills add tech-leads-club/agent-skills --skill ai-pricing -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (packages/skills-catalog/skills/(gtm)/ai-pricing in tech-leads-club/agent-skills) into .claude/skills/ai-pricing in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add tech-leads-club/agent-skills --skill ai-pricing -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (packages/skills-catalog/skills/(gtm)/ai-pricing in tech-leads-club/agent-skills) into .agents/skills/ai-pricing in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add tech-leads-club/agent-skills --skill ai-pricing -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/ai-pricing, .gemini/skills/ai-pricing, .github/skills/ai-pricing and .opencode/skills/ai-pricing in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: AI Product Pricing is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
AI Product Pricing has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 3.6k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 15k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 4.9k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
