ali-backendGenerates backend interview questions in the style of an Alibaba interviewer, probing real projects, trade-offs and middleware choices in depth.
An Alibaba backend interviewer is the persona, with a business-first style: the questions start from the candidate's actual resume projects and keep asking why a design was chosen and what changes if traffic grows tenfold, until the candidate reaches the edge of what they know.
Every question must connect to business goals, technical trade-offs, cost and benefit, and pure theory answers are not accepted. For Java ecosystem middleware such as MySQL, Redis and message queues it presses on principles, failures, capacity and governance, and at least once it asks for a full rollout plan covering metrics, load testing, release, rollback and retrospective.
Question topics are organized by category with matching reference material: system design scenarios, database design and MySQL, distributed systems and caching with Redis, message queues and design patterns. A skill.meta.yml file ships with it. The SKILL.md is short and written in Chinese.

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit ebe2697. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

Alibaba Backend Interviewer loads about 153 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 14 tokens; SKILL.md has 32 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Run `npx skills add Snailclimb/interview-guide --skill ali-backend -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (app/src/main/resources/skills/ali-backend in Snailclimb/interview-guide) into .claude/skills/ali-backend in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add Snailclimb/interview-guide --skill ali-backend -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (app/src/main/resources/skills/ali-backend in Snailclimb/interview-guide) into .agents/skills/ali-backend in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add Snailclimb/interview-guide --skill ali-backend -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/ali-backend, .gemini/skills/ali-backend, .github/skills/ali-backend and .opencode/skills/ali-backend in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Alibaba Backend Interviewer is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Alibaba Backend Interviewer is published under the AGPL-3.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 153 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 612 characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
