eisenhowerSorts a task list into the four Eisenhower quadrants (do, schedule, delegate, eliminate) with reasons, a time distribution check and first actions.
Given a list of tasks, the agent asks for the role or area and the time horizon, then places each task in a quadrant: urgent and important to do now, important but not urgent to schedule, urgent but not important to delegate, and neither to eliminate. Each quadrant has its own table, such as why a task is urgent or important, when to do it, who can take it and how to stop doing it.
The output also compares your current time split with an ideal one, using 20-25% for do, 60-70% for schedule, 10-15% for delegate and under 5% for eliminate, then lists first actions. Guidelines define urgent as an external deadline or consequence and important as contributing to goals and values, warn that other people's urgency is not automatically yours, and note that neglected schedule tasks turn into fires. Two command files, eisenhower.md and prioritize.md, and an examples reference ship with it.
3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 0e7ac2a. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

Eisenhower Matrix Prioritizer loads about 705 tokens when it runs, and up to ~2.6k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 51 tokens; SKILL.md has 252 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

.claude/skills/eisenhower/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). This skill also uses 3 other files; get the full folder from GitHub.Categorize tasks by urgency and importance to clarify what to do, schedule, delegate, or eliminate.
Take the list of tasks provided and sort them into the four quadrants. Be honest about what's truly important (moves you toward goals) versus just urgent (feels pressing but may not matter).
Context What role/area are we prioritizing for? What's the time horizon?

Each quadrant has its own table, such as why a task is urgent or important, when to do it, who can take it and how to stop doing it.
Eisenhower Matrix Prioritizer fits situations like: prioritizing a long to-do list when everything feels urgent; reviewing where your week's time actually goes; choosing what to delegate or drop; planning first actions for the day from a brain dump.
Run `npx skills add neurofoo/agent-skills --skill eisenhower -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (eisenhower in neurofoo/agent-skills) into .claude/skills/eisenhower in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add neurofoo/agent-skills --skill eisenhower -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (eisenhower in neurofoo/agent-skills) into .agents/skills/eisenhower in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add neurofoo/agent-skills --skill eisenhower -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/eisenhower, .gemini/skills/eisenhower, .github/skills/eisenhower and .opencode/skills/eisenhower in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Eisenhower Matrix Prioritizer is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Eisenhower Matrix Prioritizer is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 705 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.8k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 1.9k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
