context-modeRouting rules for using context-mode MCP tools in Antigravity CLI: sandboxed code runs, file analysis, indexed search and web fetches that keep large output out of the conversation.
This skill sets routing rules for using the context-mode MCP tools from Antigravity CLI (`agy`), where they appear under the context-mode server name followed by a tool name. The agent calls them directly and does not inspect cached schema files or run code just to discover tool names. If agy uses the generic MCP wrapper, `call_mcp_tool` takes the server name, a tool name and the JSON arguments.
The tool list covers running code in a sandbox that prints only the final answer (`ctx_execute`), reading one file into a `FILE_CONTENT` variable and analyzing it there (`ctx_execute_file`), batching repository commands and indexing large output (`ctx_batch_execute`), storing content in a local FTS5 knowledge base and searching it with session memory (`ctx_index`, `ctx_search`), fetching and indexing web pages, plus stats, doctor, upgrade, purge and insight tools. There is no separate read tool: file analysis goes through `ctx_execute_file`, native reads are kept for exact bytes needed in editing, and file content is never printed in full unless you ask.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 2a7a92a. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are json).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Context Mode for Antigravity CLI loads about 850 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 64 tokens; SKILL.md has 361 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 361 words (~850 tokens).
“context-mode MCP tools are available in agy as context-mode/. Use these tools directly. Do not inspect cached schema files under ~/.gemini/antigravity-cli/mcp/context-mode/*.json, and do not run ctx_execute just to discover tool names or schemas.”

Routing rules for using context-mode MCP tools in Antigravity CLI: sandboxed code runs, file analysis, indexed search and web fetches that keep large output out of the conversation. This skill sets routing rules for using the context-mode MCP tools from Antigravity CLI (`agy`), where they appear under the context-mode server name followed by a tool name. The agent calls them directly and does not inspect cached schema files or run code just to discover tool names.
Context Mode for Antigravity CLI fits situations like: analyzing, counting or comparing file contents without loading them into the conversation; searching a codebase or indexed web content through the local knowledge base; listing which context-mode tools are available; running data-heavy commands without flooding the context window.
Run `npx skills add mksglu/context-mode --skill context-mode -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (configs/antigravity-cli/skills/context-mode in mksglu/context-mode) into .claude/skills/context-mode in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add mksglu/context-mode --skill context-mode -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (configs/antigravity-cli/skills/context-mode in mksglu/context-mode) into .agents/skills/context-mode in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add mksglu/context-mode --skill context-mode -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/context-mode, .gemini/skills/context-mode, .github/skills/context-mode and .opencode/skills/context-mode in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Context Mode for Antigravity CLI is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: The context-mode MCP server configured in Antigravity CLI.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Context Mode for Antigravity CLI has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 850 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.4k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
