agent-testing-botExtends a project's acceptance process to real chat bot channels: Discord, Slack, Telegram, WeChat, Lark, QQ, and iMessage on macOS.
This skill adds bot-channel coverage on top of a generic acceptance-testing skill it depends on, keeping that skill's plan, execute, and finish phases and its report-and-publish pipeline intact. It only takes over when the behavior under test is a bot channel; CLI, web, or Electron changes stay with the generic skill's own surfaces.
Each supported platform gets its own folder with a guide covering activation, navigation, message sending, and verification, plus a shared driver script that every platform calls the same way: a channel or contact, a message, an optional wait time, and an optional screenshot path.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 1863542. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Ships script files (Shell, from the files we listed), which the agent can run.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:

Bot Channel Acceptance Testing loads about 1k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 44 tokens; SKILL.md has 377 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 377 words (~1,049 tokens).
“This skill extends the generic acceptance skill (installed alongside at ../acceptance/) to the bot-channel surfaces. It does NOT replace the core process: the same three phases apply —”

Extends a project's acceptance process to real chat bot channels: Discord, Slack, Telegram, WeChat, Lark, QQ, and iMessage on macOS.
Bot Channel Acceptance Testing fits situations like: verifying a bot responds correctly in Discord, Slack, or Telegram; testing a WeChat or Lark bot integration end-to-end; confirming an iMessage bridge delivers and receives messages correctly.
Run `npx skills add lobehub/lobehub --skill agent-testing-bot -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/agent-testing-bot in lobehub/lobehub) into .claude/skills/agent-testing-bot in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add lobehub/lobehub --skill agent-testing-bot -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/agent-testing-bot in lobehub/lobehub) into .agents/skills/agent-testing-bot in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add lobehub/lobehub --skill agent-testing-bot -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/agent-testing-bot, .gemini/skills/agent-testing-bot, .github/skills/agent-testing-bot and .opencode/skills/agent-testing-bot in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Bot Channel Acceptance Testing needs a shell for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (bash). Our summary lists: macOS for the osascript-driven platform scripts; A configured dev server and seeded account from the project's acceptance adapter.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Bot Channel Acceptance Testing has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 1k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 4.2k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
