trade-gateRuns a fixed checklist before any buy, add, sell or trim, scores the result, logs each verdict as JSON and flags trades that went against it.
The skill turns trading discipline into a process. Buying or adding passes a six-layer funnel that mixes hard gates and soft scores: a competence-circle check that needs existing research notes for the ticker, a falsifiable thesis, valuation and cycle position, technical entry, position size and concentration, and a preset exit with a stop-loss price and a mechanical trim rule. Failing a hard gate rejects the idea without scoring.
Selling or trimming goes through a trigger matrix, and a patrol mode runs the sell triggers across every holding pulled from Longbridge. Every decision, including rejected ones, is written to a JSON file; on the next run the skill checks actual fills and marks violations, and a violation ledger compares the outcomes of those trades. It never places orders, since its Longbridge access is read-only, and it reads journal/lessons.md before every run. The SKILL.md is written in Chinese.

Trade Decision Gate loads about 2k tokens when it runs, and up to ~5.5k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 92 tokens; SKILL.md has 598 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 598 words (~1,995 tokens).

Trade Decision Gate fits situations like: before buying or adding to a position, to score the idea through the funnel; before selling or trimming, to check the sell triggers; running a patrol across all holdings on a sharp market drop; totaling how many logged decisions broke the gate and what they cost.
Run `npx skills add kansoku-trade/kansoku --skill trade-gate -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.claude/skills/trade-gate in kansoku-trade/kansoku) into .claude/skills/trade-gate in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add kansoku-trade/kansoku --skill trade-gate -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.claude/skills/trade-gate in kansoku-trade/kansoku) into .agents/skills/trade-gate in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add kansoku-trade/kansoku --skill trade-gate -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/trade-gate, .gemini/skills/trade-gate, .github/skills/trade-gate and .opencode/skills/trade-gate in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Trade Decision Gate is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: Read-only Longbridge access for positions and quotes; Per-ticker research notes in stocks/ and a journal/lessons.md file.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Trade Decision Gate has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 2k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 8k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 3.5k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
