At a glance

Starts the hosted server side of iPolloWork in a Daytona sandbox, running Den Web, Den API, the worker proxy and MySQL for end-to-end cloud testing.

  • Standing up the hosted Den server for iPolloWork testing
  • SKILL.md covers What This Covers, Start Server Sandbox, Connect Electron To Server and Validate Server Health, plus 2 more sections
  • Calls bash and curl
  • Validating marketplace, org policy or cloud auth flows end to end

What it does

A helper script creates a server sandbox in Daytona, starts MySQL, the Den API, Den Web and the worker proxy, waits for health checks, and prints the resulting URLs. If dependencies or the base image changed, a separate script refreshes the server snapshot first.

For full desktop validation, a second Daytona sandbox runs the Electron client pointed at the printed server URLs, optionally requiring cloud sign-in. Health is checked by curling the Den Web and Den API health endpoints, and logs can be pulled from the sandbox with `daytona exec` when a check fails. Server health alone does not prove the Electron client's cloud behavior works, so this pairs with a separate recording-artifacts skill and a pass/fail tool for real evidence.

When your agent uses it

  • Standing up the hosted Den server for iPolloWork testing
  • Validating marketplace, org policy or cloud auth flows end to end
  • Connecting an Electron desktop sandbox to a running Daytona server

Example prompts

  • “Start the Daytona server sandbox for iPolloWork and show me the health URLs.”
  • “Connect my Electron sandbox to this server and require cloud sign-in.”
  • “The Den API health check is failing, so pull the server logs.”

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 71a74ad. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

    Shell commands in SKILL.md call:

    • bash
    • curl

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use curl, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Daytona Cloud Server Setup loads about 687 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 53 tokens; SKILL.md has 269 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~53
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~687

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

SKILL.md

Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 269 words (~687 tokens).

“Use this skill when the user needs the hosted/server side of iPolloWork running in Daytona. This is separate from the Electron desktop sandbox.”
