saas-economics-efficiency-metricsReference and evaluator for SaaS unit economics and capital efficiency: gross margin, CAC, LTV, burn, runway and magic number, to decide whether to scale or optimize.
The skill is a framework for product managers rather than a finance reporting tool, covering unit economics, profitability and cash runway. Its unit economics section defines gross margin, CAC and LTV with formulas, what each one includes, why PMs care and rough benchmarks, such as a SaaS gross margin of 70 to 85 percent being good and under 60 percent concerning, and enterprise CAC of 10K and up being acceptable while SMB targets sit under 500.
You state the question, such as whether you can scale, raise or extend runway, or list the metrics to evaluate, for instance CAC, gross margin, burn, runway and magic number. Partial data works, and with no input the skill serves as a reference organized by stage and decision. A template and two examples are included, one of healthy unit economics and one of a cash trap.
4 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 1b5a524. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

SaaS Economics and Efficiency Metrics loads about 6.4k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 42 tokens; SKILL.md has 3,025 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 3,025 words (~6,434 tokens).
“Determine whether your SaaS business model is fundamentally viable and capital-efficient. Use this to calculate unit economics, assess profitability, manage cash runway, and decide when to scale vs. optimize. Essential for fundraising, board reporting, and making smart investment trade-offs.”

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: SaaS Economics and Efficiency Metrics is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
SaaS Economics and Efficiency Metrics has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 6.4k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 26k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
