connect-appsConnects an agent to 1000+ external apps through the Composio Tool Router plugin, so it can actually send emails, create issues and post messages instead of only drafting them.
This skill sets up the composio-toolrouter plugin so the agent can take real actions in outside services rather than only producing text about them. Setup means installing the plugin with /plugin install, running its setup command, which asks for a free Composio API key and takes about a minute, then restarting Claude Code and sending a test email to confirm the connection works.
Once connected, a request such as emailing a contact, creating a GitHub issue, posting to a Slack channel or adding meeting notes to Notion goes to the Composio Tool Router, which picks the right tool. The first use of each app asks you to authorize through OAuth, after which the action runs and returns a result. Listed app groups include email (Gmail, Outlook, SendGrid), chat (Slack, Discord, Teams, Telegram), development (GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Linear), documents (Notion, Google Docs, Confluence) and data (Sheets, Airtable, PostgreSQL). Troubleshooting covers a missing plugin, a pending authorization, and failed actions caused by permissions in the target app.
3 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit be2a406. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

Connect Apps with Composio loads about 557 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 48 tokens; SKILL.md has 228 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 228 words (~557 tokens).
