At a glance

Drives Acculynx through Composio's toolkit on the Rube MCP server, searching for current tool schemas first and checking the connection before running anything.

  • Works in 3 steps: Discover Available Tools → Check Connection → Execute Tools
  • Running an Acculynx task through the Rube MCP toolkit
  • SKILL.md covers Prerequisites, Setup, Tool Discovery and Core Workflow Pattern, plus 2 more sections
  • Reaches rube.app

What it does

This skill works with Acculynx through Composio's Acculynx toolkit, using the Rube MCP server, which you add as an MCP server at https://rube.app/mcp without any API keys. Before anything runs, the agent confirms `RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS` responds, calls `RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS` for the `acculynx` toolkit and follows the returned auth link if the connection is not ACTIVE.

The workflow is discover, check the connection, then execute: search for tools to get current slugs, input schemas and known pitfalls, and run them with `RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL`. Listed pitfalls include never hardcoding tool slugs, using the exact field names from search results, always sending a `memory` parameter even when empty, reusing session IDs within one workflow and following pagination tokens to the end. The excerpt does not name specific Acculynx operations.

When your agent uses it

  • Running an Acculynx task through the Rube MCP toolkit
  • Connecting an Acculynx account to an agent through Composio
  • Finding which Acculynx tools and input schemas are currently available

Example prompts

  • “Connect my Acculynx account through Rube and list the tools it offers.”
  • “Check that my Acculynx connection in Rube shows ACTIVE before we start.”
  • “Search the Rube toolkit for Acculynx actions and show me their input schemas.”

Requirements

  • Rube MCP connected as an MCP server
  • An active Acculynx connection made through Composio

Workflow steps

3 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.

  1. Discover Available Tools
  2. Check Connection
  3. Execute Tools

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit be2a406. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:

    • rube.app

    Also links to:

    • composio.dev

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Acculynx Automation via Rube MCP loads about 734 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 29 tokens; SKILL.md has 258 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~29
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~734

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
