composioRoutes requests to external SaaS apps such as GitHub, Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Notion and Linear through cloud tools, with safeguards on irreversible actions.
The skill tells the agent when to act in an external app: searching, reading, creating, updating, sending, posting, scheduling or managing something in a configured cloud tool, or connecting an account so an action can run. Conceptual questions about an app, changes to the agent's own identity and benchmark memory questions are excluded. The agent uses a cloud-tool session flow to search for relevant tools, manage connections, wait for authorization and execute the chosen tool.
If a tool returns an auth or connect link, the agent shows it directly and explains that you must complete the connection first. Irreversible writes, including sending email, deleting content, posting messages, merging pull requests or closing issues, happen only when you explicitly asked for that final action, and drafts, previews, searches or plans never trigger them. It must not invent recipients, channels, repository names or attendees, and results are kept brief with IDs and links. The package holds client.py and __init__.py.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit b56a9bc. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Composio Cloud Tools loads about 543 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 35 tokens; SKILL.md has 256 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Run `npx skills add quarqlabs/argus --skill composio -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (tools/composio in quarqlabs/argus) into .claude/skills/composio in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add quarqlabs/argus --skill composio -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (tools/composio in quarqlabs/argus) into .agents/skills/composio in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add quarqlabs/argus --skill composio -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/composio, .gemini/skills/composio, .github/skills/composio and .opencode/skills/composio in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Composio Cloud Tools needs Python for the scripts in its folder. Our summary lists: Authorized connections to the external apps you want to use.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Composio Cloud Tools is published under the Apache-2.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 543 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.2k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
