give-me-tipsExplains a specific senpi tip in depth, such as a Tip: line shown in the terminal UI, after checking the real tip catalog on your machine.
A question about a startup tip, a working tip or a Tip: line in the interface triggers this skill, and the agent explains that exact tip in detail rather than summarizing it. It answers in the language you asked in and aims for the real mechanism behind the feature, since someone asking has already read the tip text.
The agent is told not to answer from memory. It first runs `omo --list-tips` (or `senpi --list-tips` on a plain senpi install, or the launcher named by `OMO_BIN`), which prints JSON entries with an id, text and optional `requiresCommand`, and matches your tip by id or text fragment. If that flag is missing, it reads the catalog sources inside the installed `@code-yeongyu/senpi` package. It then separates what exists from what you can see, because the `tips` toggle in settings.json, `tipsHistory` cooldowns, command requirements and keybinding availability all differ per user.
2 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit cbd7dd2. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Give Me Tips loads about 3.3k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 43 tokens; SKILL.md has 1,873 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 1,873 words (~3,335 tokens).
“Senpi shows the user tips: startup tips, working tips, and Tip: lines injected by omo components. When the user asks about any of them - "what was that Tip: line", "what does this tip mean", "how does that feature work"…”

anthropics/skills
Guides the design and implementation of Model Context Protocol servers in TypeScript or Python, from tool naming and error messages to evaluation.
anthropics/claude-plugins-official
Explains how to write Claude Code plugin hooks, both prompt-based checks and bash commands, for events such as PreToolUse, Stop and SessionStart.
addyosmani/agent-skills
Guides a conversation that takes a vague idea through divergent and convergent thinking and ends in a markdown one-pager covering scope and assumptions.
farm-fe/farm
A skill your agent uses when starting any conversation - establishes how to find and use skills, requiring Skill tool invocation before ANY response including clarifying questions
obra/superpowers
Has the agent carry out an implementation plan itself, task by task in the current session, keeping a ledger, proving each step with a test and ending with one whole-branch review.
anthropics/claude-plugins-official
Explains how to write agents for Claude Code plugins: the markdown file with YAML frontmatter, trigger descriptions, model and color settings, and system prompt design.
code-yeongyu/oh-my-openagent
Searches and rewrites code by syntax-tree shape across 25 languages with ast-grep, for codemods, structural queries and YAML lint rules, using a Python wrapper script.
code-yeongyu/oh-my-openagent
Drives a real browser through the omowright library, either the user's own signed-in browser or a separate browser the code launches, for forms, QA, screenshots and scraping.
code-yeongyu/oh-my-openagent
Tests the omo Codex plugin in an isolated CODEX_HOME with a local mock model, proving hooks fired through app-server notifications without touching ~/.codex.
code-yeongyu/oh-my-openagent
Finds, reads and reconstructs past coding-agent sessions across Codex, Claude, OpenCode, Senpi and many other local agent logs.
code-yeongyu/oh-my-openagent
Detects which languages a project uses, installs the matching language server, writes its config and checks it with a real call so diagnostics and go-to-definition work.
code-yeongyu/oh-my-openagent
Tests the opencode coding agent itself: its CLI, server, plugin hooks and events, the terminal UI under tmux, and its SQLite session database, using tested helper scripts.

A question about a startup tip, a working tip or a Tip: line in the interface triggers this skill, and the agent explains that exact tip in detail rather than summarizing it. Give Me Tips fits situations like: you saw a Tip: line in the senpi terminal UI and want to know what it means; asking how a feature mentioned in a startup or working tip actually behaves; checking which tips are available to your own senpi setup.
Run `npx skills add code-yeongyu/oh-my-openagent --skill give-me-tips -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (packages/omo-senpi/skills/give-me-tips in code-yeongyu/oh-my-openagent) into .claude/skills/give-me-tips in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add code-yeongyu/oh-my-openagent --skill give-me-tips -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (packages/omo-senpi/skills/give-me-tips in code-yeongyu/oh-my-openagent) into .agents/skills/give-me-tips in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add code-yeongyu/oh-my-openagent --skill give-me-tips -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/give-me-tips, .gemini/skills/give-me-tips, .github/skills/give-me-tips and .opencode/skills/give-me-tips in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Give Me Tips is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: The omo or senpi command-line tool installed.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Give Me Tips has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 3.3k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 13k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
