Eurosys Workflow is an agent skill from brycewang-stanford/Awesome-Journal-Skills. Use when planning a EuroSys campaign end to end — choosing between the spring and fall gates of an edition, backward-scheduling system building and evaluation from the abstract deadline, handling the notification-to-revision-to-resubmission pipeline, and landing camera-ready, artifacts, and April travel for the conference.
Its SKILL.md is about 1.3k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
The repository describes itself as: Journal-specific Claude Code/Codex skill packs covering mainstream journals — AER, QJE, Nature, Cell, 管理世界, 经济研究 & 200+ more — your fast track to getting published. | 覆盖主流期刊的… The licence is MIT.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 932eb23. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Eurosys Workflow loads about 1.3k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 85 tokens; SKILL.md has 578 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from brycewang-stanford/Awesome-Journal-Skills at commit 932eb23, republished under its MIT licence (© brycewang-stanford). 578 words, ~1,348 tokens.
.claude/skills/eurosys-workflow/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).Use this as the project plan around a EuroSys submission. The venue's calendar
is its most distinctive constraint: one April conference fed by two
submission gates roughly four months apart. Dates below are the EuroSys 2027
cycle as rendered on 2026-07-08 (2027.eurosys.org/cfp.html); re-pull the live
CFP before committing the team to any of them.
| Milestone | Date | Status on 2026-07-08 |
|---|---|---|
| Spring abstracts / papers | May 7 / May 14, 2026 | Closed |
| Spring notification | August 21, 2026 | ~6 weeks away |
| Fall abstracts / papers | September 17 / 24, 2026 | ~10 / 11 weeks away |
| Fall notification | January 29, 2027 | — |
| Camera-ready (both cohorts) | ~March 5, 2027 (third-party, 待核实) | — |
| Conference, Rabat, Morocco | April 19–23/24, 2027 (end date 待核实) | — |
So a team starting today has one live target: the fall gate. A team with a spring submission under review is in the quiet zone — the right use of that zone is artifact preparation and boundary experiments, both of which pay off regardless of the August outcome.
T-10w now System feature-frozen for the paper's claims; eval matrix written
T-8w late Jul Decomposition + cost experiments running nightly; plots automated
T-6w mid Aug Full draft exists in acmart[sigplan] review mode; internal read #1
T-4w late Aug Boundary/worst-case runs done; related-work sweep incl. dblp pass
T-3w early Sep External mock review by a systems colleague outside the project
T-2w Sep 10 Claims-to-evidence audit; every number has provenance
T-1w Sep 17 ABSTRACT GATE — title/abstract/authors/topics/conflicts final
T-0 Sep 24 Paper gate — identity sweep on the final PDF, upload with marginThe two-gate structure is a gift: the abstract week is for polishing, and the title and abstract registered at T-1w determine which reviewers bid — write them for bidding, not as placeholders.
eurosys-author-response).eurosys-topic-selection has the routing table).| Risk | Early symptom | Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Eval starts too late | No automated plots by T-8w | Experiments lead |
| Baseline dispute | Tuning provenance undocumented | Whoever runs baselines |
| Anonymity leak | Repo/PDF never swept | Submission owner |
| Revision-condition overrun | No feasibility call in week one | Project lead |
| Travel/visa for Rabat | Unchecked entry requirements post-accept | Presenting author |
The two-gate calendar creates long author-side silences (submission to notification is ~14 weeks). Teams that treat them as vacations pay later:
Groups with multiple projects should stagger them across the two gates rather than crowding the fall: a spring submission gets its decision in August with time to revise into the fall, while a fall submission's revision path crosses into the next edition. Maturity at gate time — not preference for a season — should pick the gate.

Eurosys Workflow fits situations like: planning a EuroSys campaign end to end — choosing between the spring and fall gates of an edition; backward-scheduling system building and evaluation from the abstract deadline; handling the notification-to-revision-to-resubmission pipeline; landing camera-ready.

With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add brycewang-stanford/Awesome-Journal-Skills --skill eurosys-workflow -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/eurosys-workflow, .gemini/skills/eurosys-workflow, .github/skills/eurosys-workflow and .opencode/skills/eurosys-workflow in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Eurosys Workflow is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Eurosys Workflow is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 1.3k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 5.4k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
