add-private-feature-flagAdds a private developer-experiments feature flag to Ghost, covering the backend registration, the Labs settings toggle and the test snapshot updates.
Private flags in Ghost show up under the Private features tab in Labs settings, and only when developer experiments are enabled. The skill walks through three steps: add the camelCase flag name to the `PRIVATE_FEATURES` array in `ghost/core/core/shared/labs.js`, add a matching entry with a title, description and flag to the features array in `private-features.tsx` under the admin app, then run the tests.
Testing means running the labs unit test, updating the config and settings API snapshots with the `-u` flag through `pnpm test:single`, and reviewing both diffs to confirm only the new flag was added. The name must be identical in the flag list, the toggle and the snapshots, and no database migration is needed because flags live in one JSON setting. Public beta flags go in `PUBLIC_BETA_FEATURES` and `beta-features.tsx` instead. The skill points to the repository's feature flag guide to read first.
3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 5b09711. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
pnpmFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use pnpm, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Ghost Private Feature Flag loads about 486 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 40 tokens; SKILL.md has 218 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Ghost Private Feature Flag needs the command-line tools its instructions call (pnpm). Our summary lists: A Ghost repository checkout with pnpm.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.

About 486 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 1.9k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
