flows-jj-abiProcedure for changing or verifying the flows-jj native and WASM ABI, its committed artifact and its reproducibility campaign in the Smithers repository.
This skill covers work on the flows-jj crate in the Smithers repository: changing its native and WASM ABI, updating the committed WASM artifact or checking the reproducibility campaign. Before editing, the agent reads the ABI campaign document, the WASM build script and CONTRIBUTING.md at the revision under test.
Verification is judged on evidence, not exit status. Each campaign gets a fresh artifact directory, the native tier and the committed real-WASM tier consume the same deterministic malformed-request corpus, and the reports and hashes are reviewed. A smaller local run or an uninstrumented run is narrower evidence than the scheduled campaign and the parser ASAN tier, and none of them proves the ABI exhaustively.
The committed WASM bytes assume a pinned Rust toolchain and a canonical Linux host. The command node crates/flows-jj/build-wasm.mjs --verify compares without writing and refuses unsupported hosts. Any reproducibility claim should carry the seed, case and step counts, artifact hashes, host and tier status.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 7688150. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

flows-jj ABI Maintenance loads about 299 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 27 tokens; SKILL.md has 138 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

.claude/skills/flows-jj-abi/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).Read the ABI campaign, WASM build script, and CONTRIBUTING.md on the revision under test before editing this crate or its committed WASM artifact.
Use a fresh artifact directory for each campaign. The native and committed real-WASM tiers must consume the same deterministic malformed-request corpus; review the reports and hashes, not merely exit status. A smaller local run and an uninstrumented run are narrower evidence than the scheduled campaign and parser ASAN tier. Neither is an exhaustive ABI proof.
The committed WASM bytes have a pinned Rust toolchain and canonical Linux host contract. node crates/flows-jj/build-wasm.mjs --verify compares without writing; the script refuses unsupported hosts. Build on the canonical host before committing artifact bytes and run the required gate for the files changed. Retain the seed, case/step counts, artifact hashes, host, and tier status with any reproducibility claim.

This skill covers work on the flows-jj crate in the Smithers repository: changing its native and WASM ABI, updating the committed WASM artifact or checking the reproducibility campaign.md at the revision under test.
flows-jj ABI Maintenance fits situations like: changing the flows-jj native or WASM ABI; verifying that the committed WASM artifact still matches its build; running or reviewing a flows-jj reproducibility campaign.
Run `npx skills add smithersai/smithers --skill flows-jj-abi -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/flows-jj-abi in smithersai/smithers) into .claude/skills/flows-jj-abi in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add smithersai/smithers --skill flows-jj-abi -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). Going by SKILL.md and its folder, flows-jj ABI Maintenance needs the command-line tools its instructions call (node). Our summary lists: Node.js; A pinned Rust toolchain on a canonical Linux host.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
flows-jj ABI Maintenance is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 299 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 1.2k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
