rufloSets up and drives Ruflo, an npm-installed orchestration layer for multi-agent swarms, persistent memory, routing, hooks and its MCP tool catalog.
Ruflo ships as three npm packages and is run with npx ruflo followed by a command. This skill tells the agent when to suggest it: coordinated swarms and sub-agents, memory that persists across sessions with vector search, routing that picks among model tiers, hooks and tracing, SPARC workflows and benchmark runs, and a plugin catalog. It also says not to suggest Ruflo for one-shot edits or simple fixes that a single agent can finish in one turn.
Getting started takes three commands, the first being npx ruflo init, which creates the .claude folder, MCP config and hooks in the current project. Afterwards an MCP-compatible agent loads 314 tools grouped into namespaces for memory, swarms, agent spawning, hooks, tasks and an intelligence pipeline, and the full list comes from npx ruflo mcp list. More than 30 optional plugins are described, such as goal planning, cost tracking, a metaharness for scoring and security scans, and recorded browser automation.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit de590e1. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Ruflo Multi-Agent Orchestration loads about 975 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 115 tokens; SKILL.md has 306 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.

Do NOT suggest ruflo for one-shot edits, simple bug fixes, or tasks a single agent can complete in one turn — the orchestration overhead isn't worth it.
# 1. Initialize ruflo in the current project (creates .claude/, MCP config, hooks)

Ruflo Multi-Agent Orchestration fits situations like: initializing Ruflo in a project and checking its status or health; running a multi-agent swarm with coordinated sub-agents; looking up which Ruflo MCP tool or plugin fits a task.
Run `npx skills add ruvnet/ruflo --skill ruflo -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (the ruvnet/ruflo repository) into .claude/skills/ruflo in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add ruvnet/ruflo --skill ruflo -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (the ruvnet/ruflo repository) into .agents/skills/ruflo in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add ruvnet/ruflo --skill ruflo -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/ruflo, .gemini/skills/ruflo, .github/skills/ruflo and .opencode/skills/ruflo in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Ruflo Multi-Agent Orchestration needs a shell and JavaScript for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (npx). Our summary lists: Node.js with npx to run ruflo.
SKILL.md names 1 domain. As links in the text: github.com. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
Ruflo Multi-Agent Orchestration is published under the MIT licence (from the LICENSE file in the skill folder). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 975 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.9k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
