add-model-descriptionsFinds models on the Hugging Face router that lack descriptions in chat-ui's prod.yaml and dev.yaml, researches each one and adds short descriptions.
The workflow fetches the model list from router.huggingface.co/v1/models, reads chart/env/prod.yaml and pulls the model IDs out of its MODELS JSON array. Any ID present on the router but absent from the file counts as missing. Each missing model is then researched on the web for its architecture, key capabilities and target use cases.
Descriptions follow the existing house style: eight to twelve words, sentence fragments, no articles unless needed, centered on architecture, specialization and key capability. New entries go at the top of the MODELS array in both prod.yaml and dev.yaml as id and description pairs, and the change is committed with a message that states how many models were added. Notes cover FP8 variants, vision-language models, agent models and regional language focus.

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Add Model Descriptions loads about 600 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 91 tokens; SKILL.md has 214 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Add Model Descriptions fits situations like: new models have appeared on the Hugging Face router and the chat-ui config lacks them; syncing prod.yaml and dev.yaml with the router's current model list; writing short, consistent one-line descriptions for model entries.

With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add ruvnet/ruflo --skill add-model-descriptions -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/add-model-descriptions, .gemini/skills/add-model-descriptions, .github/skills/add-model-descriptions and .opencode/skills/add-model-descriptions in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Add Model Descriptions needs the command-line tools its instructions call (git). Our summary lists: A chat-ui checkout with chart/env/prod.yaml and dev.yaml; Network access and web search.
SKILL.md names 1 domain. In commands or code: router.huggingface.co; the agent is likely to contact it when it follows the instructions. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.

About 600 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.4k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
